PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gap from being formed between a pad of a vehicle seat and a cover member.SOLUTION: A pad 10 is formed by foam-molding a cushion material 12 on an inner face of a skin 11 to be closely adhered and integrated and insert-molding a shape retention member 13 in the cushion material 12. On the rear side of the pad 10, a cover member 20 made of hard resin is placed. In the insert-molding, the shape retention member 13 is caused to be elastically deformed to be contracted, and thereafter the contraction force of the shape retention member 13 is released. Accordingly, the elastic restitutive force of the shape retention member 13 presses the cushion material 12 outward to be compressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
