PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay which can suppress damage due to heat of a pressing member caused when arc flows between contacts, while increasing the movement amount of the contacts.SOLUTION: A pressing member is provided on a first contact piece so as to press a portion between a first terminal and a first contact. The first contact comes into contact with a second contact when the pressing member moves from an off-position to an on-position so as to press the first contact piece in a direction toward a second contact piece. When the pressing member stops pressing, the first contact comes out of contact from the second contact due to elastic force by the first contact piece. At the same time, the pressing member is pushed back to the first contact piece so as to move from the on-position to the off-position. Before the pressing member reaches the off-position from the on-position, a restriction member restricts the movement of the first contact piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
