The present invention relates to a functional epoxy-based adhesive and use thereof. According to the present invention, an epoxy resin present in a liquid crystal state and having constant alignment property is prepared at room temperature, the liquid-state epoxy resin is blended with a conventional epoxy resin to obtain an epoxy blend, and graphene nanoplates are added to and compounded with the epoxy blend to finish a liquid crystal epoxy adhesive composition. Although the liquid crystal epoxy adhesive composition comprises graphene nanoplates having high heat conductivity, the liquid crystal-state epoxy ingredient maintains a stable state at room temperature. Thus, the graphene nanoplates as additives cause no phase separation of precipitation and maintain a stable sate in the liquid crystal epoxy matrix. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to maintain a stable storage state even at room temperature and to provide excellent electric heating property, unlike the conventional adhesives. |
