A monitor task updating method and device. The method comprises: receiving a monitor request message transmitted by a service platform, wherein the message comprises a monitor identifier of the monitor task and a monitor task parameter (10); when the monitor task has begun execution and requires continuous execution, updating a corresponding local monitor task parameter according to a received and updated monitor task parameter, and transmitting to a carrier layer network element (20) a monitor request execution message carrying an updated local monitor task parameter. The present invention expands an existing monitor request flow and enhances a monitor task updating function, thereby supporting the update of the monitor task. |
