PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS terminal capable of applying an electronic coupon downloaded in a mobile terminal.SOLUTION: A POS terminal comprises: a communication unit that communicates with a mobile terminal of a customer, and obtains information on an electronic coupon held in the mobile terminal in association with a customer ID; a customer ID acquisition unit that acquires the customer ID during the settlement of a commodity; a commodity information acquisition unit that acquires information on the commodity related to the settlement; a storage unit that holds the information on the electronic coupon and the customer ID; and a control unit that controls the communication unit, customer ID acquisition unit, commodity information acquisition unit, and storage unit. The control unit causes the communication unit to obtain the information on the electronic coupon in association with the customer ID from the mobile terminal of the customer and stores it in the storage unit, causes the customer ID acquisition unit to acquire the customer ID and causes the commodity information acquisition unit to acquire the information on the commodity related to the settlement during the settlement of the commodity, and applies the electronic coupon to the payment of the commodity when determining that the electronic coupon is applicable to the payment of the commodity on the basis of the information on the commodity and the information on the electronic coupon corresponding to the customer ID.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
