PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removing device for a rotor for an electric motor that can remove foreign matters deposited in a groove without scattering the foreign matters to outside.SOLUTION: A foreign matter removing device for a rotor for an electric motor includes a core 2 having a shaft insertion hole formed at the center thereof, a shaft 4 to be inserted into the shaft insertion hole, and a nut 5 for fixing the core 2 to the shaft 4. The core 2 has a key 6 formed therein, and the shaft 4 has a key groove 9 to be fitted to the key 6, a male screw portion for mounting the nut 5, and a caulking groove 13 for caulking by using the nut 5. The foreign matter removing device further includes a blow nozzle 31 for blowing at least one of the key groove 9 and the caulking groove 13, and a suction unit 33 for sucking the foreign matters scattering due to blowing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
