PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a reduction in finish quality, such as wrinkles and creases on recording media compared with a case where a support toner image is not formed when the recording media are stacked in layers.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus forms a colored toner image in an image forming area 82 of a recording medium 12 by using a colored toner on the basis of image data. The image forming apparatus forms a support toner image 86 in the image forming area of the recording medium by using a predetermined toner on the basis of the image data, the support toner image 86 being in contact with the circumference of a high density area (high density image part 84) where the image density per unit area of the colored toner image formed in the image forming area is higher than a predetermined density so as to make a part of the image forming area other than the high density area to have a predetermined height hs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
