PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high inductance while implementing reduction of the mode conversion characteristic of a common mode filter.SOLUTION: A common mode filter 1 includes first and second wires W1 and W2 which are respectively wound around a winding core portion 11a with the same number of turns. Each of the wires W1 and W2 is wound around a first winding area AR1 at a turn number mand is also wound around a second winding area AR2 at a turn number m. The inter-line distance Dbetween the n-th turn (1≤n≤m-1) of the wire W2 and the n+1-th turn of the wire W1 in the winding area AR1 is shorter than the inter-line distance Dbetween the n-th turn of the wire W1 and the n+1-th turn of the wire W2. In addition, the inter-line distance Dbetween the n-th turn (m+1≤n≤m+ m-1) of the wire W 1 and the n+1-th turn of the wire W2 in the winding area AR2 is shorter than the inter-line distance Dbetween the n-th turn of the wire W 2 and the n+1-th turn of the wire W 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
