PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent abnormal video output when switching a 2D program and a 3D program in a receiver of digital broadcast.SOLUTION: In the reception of digital signals mixing a 3D video program content and a 2D video program content, digital signals containing first identification information for identifying whether a program content to be received is a 3D video program or a 2D video program, second identification information for identifying the end position of a video program content, and the program content are received. The digital signals thus received are decoded, and a program content, contained in the decoded digital signals, is converted into a predetermined display video format or an output video format and outputted. In the output, switching of a 2D video program content and 3D video program content is detected by the first identification information, and switching is made to the 2D output video format output when the end position of the 3D video program content is identified by the second identification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 25 |
