The present invention provides a roaming handoff control method and a central control unit. The central control unit comprises the following roaming handoff task processing flow: the central control unit acquires signal intensities that correspond to a terminal in an area where the terminal is located and are respectively fed back by all access points aiming at the same terminal; determine the access point having the strongest signal intensity as a new target access point; obtain a difference value between the signal intensity of the new target access point and the signal intensity of the original target access point, the original target access point being an access point matching the terminal at present; and judge whether the signal intensity difference value is greater than an anti-shake threshold value or not, and if not, control the terminal not to perform roaming handoff, the anti-shake threshold value being greater than 0. Compared with the prior art, the present invention can perform roaming anti-shake instead of roaming handoff when coming across an access point with a signal intensity higher than that of an original target access point, is guided to be in connection with a most suitable access point, and is capable of performing frequent roaming handoff, thereby being enabled to simultaneously and stably perform data transmission, ensuring the smoothness of service during roaming of a terminal, and improving user experience. |
