Provided are an array substrate and method for fabrication thereof and a display device, the array substrate comprising: a base substrate (9); a first electrode pattern (11), second electrode pattern (12), and an active layer pattern (5) arranged on the base substrate; coating a first protection pattern (3) with a first electrode pattern, and coating a second protection pattern (4) with a second electrode pattern; the active layer pattern is arranged between the first electrode pattern and the second electrode pattern; the first electrode protection pattern and the second electrode protection pattern are connected to the two sides of the active layer pattern, respectively. Thus the problem of the surface of the material used by the first electrode pattern and the second electrode pattern having low resistance and being oxidized, and thereby causing it to be impossible for the active layer pattern to be connected to the first electrode pattern and the second electrode pattern, is avoided, and product yield is improved. |
