The present technology pertains to a regulator circuit and a control method capable of handling extreme changes in a load. The regulator circuit is equipped with an output transistor provided between an input terminal and an output terminal, a differential amplification unit for amplifying a difference between a reference voltage and the voltage fed back from the output transistor, a voltage feedback path, and a current feedback path. The current feedback path includes a current source and a transistor. The transistor included in the current feedback path is configured from a NMOS, the gate is connected to an output terminal of the differential amplification unit, the drain is connected to the current source, and the source is connected to an input terminal of the differential amplification unit. The present technology can be applied to a regulator circuit. |
