PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically create a database that has a proper structure on the basis of layout of a data table created by a user using spreadsheet software.SOLUTION: A table 6200 is constructed by: imparting indexes 0-4 to every data item about each of multiple cells of a data table 5200 configured by arranging cell ranges 5220, 5240, 5260, 5280 and 5300 including multiple cells; determining a structure of the table 6200 of a database so that all of the number of records provided for each data item belonging to the stored data may become the same in order to store data written in each cell; imparting the indexes 0-4 being the same as the indexes imparted to the associated cell in the data table 5200 to each record in the table 6200; and writing the data written in each cell in the data table 5200 into the record imparted of the index being the same as the cell among the associated records in the table 6200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
