PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately implement map matching.SOLUTION: An electronic device 1 comprises: a position acquisition unit 51; a current position determination unit 53; and a matching processing unit 52. The position acquisition unit 51 is configured to acquire position information. In a branching path where a link of map information branches, when the position information acquired by the position acquisition unit 51 is present within a fixed range from a branching position in the branching path, the current position determination unit 53 is configured to calculate a provisional position corresponding to the position information on the basis of a likelihood of a plurality of candidate links to be a candidate of map matching. When the position information acquired by the position acquisition unit 51 comes out of the fixed range, the matching processing unit 52 is configured to implement map matching of the position information corresponding to the provisional position to the candidate link higher in the likelihood with respect to the provisional position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
