PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device and side lobe elimination method that transmit a main beam from a plurality of main antennas in a desired azimuth, and use a plurality of auxiliary antennas to transmit an auxiliary beam high in gain in an entire periphery, and thereby can execute SLC processing with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A radar device 10 of the present invention comprises: main antennas 21...2N that receive a reflection wave of a transmitted main beam; auxiliary antennas 31...3M that receive a reflection wave of a transmitted auxiliary beam; distribution means 41...4M that divide the reflection wave of the auxiliary beam to output the sub-auxiliary beam; switch means 51...5N that select one of the reflection waves of M auxiliary beams to output the selected one; and processing means 61...6N that process the reflection wave of the input main beam using the reflection wave of the input auxiliary beam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
