PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object identification device capable of identifying an object in a short time using hyperspectral data.SOLUTION: An object identification device 10 includes a storage section 11 for storing object information including hyperspectral data corresponding to a prescribed object and polarization information indicating the polarization direction of light from the prescribed object received by an image sensor that has acquired the hyperspectral data, and an extraction section 12 for extracting object information corresponding to the polarization information that was acquired when the hyperspectral data of the object to be identified was acquired from the storage section 11 and extracting the object information corresponding to the acquired hyperspectral data from the extracted object information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
