PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission enabling synchronization without using a dedicated actuator such as a motor, in synchronizing and engaging a dog clutch in a state where phase is deviated and rotation is stopped.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission detects a state where rotation of a shaft is stopped (S1); when a drive current IS of a motor is equal to or more than a predetermined current I1 larger than a driving current generated in normal stroke (S3), and an axial stroke amount Str of a clutch ring dog is equal to or less than a predetermined stroke amount Str0 (S4), rotates the shaft with torque of a power source by connecting a clutch provided between the power source and the shaft; and synchronizes and engages a dog clutch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
