PURPOSE: A rotation speed controlling method of a clothing dryer according to clothing kind is provided to differ the rotation speed of a drum according to the kind of clothing for preventing the damage of the clothing and increasing the drying efficiency. CONSTITUTION: In a rotation speed controlling method of a clothing dryer according to clothing kind, a driving speed of a driving motor is set by a kind of clothing in such a manner that delicate clothing is dried by driving the motor at a lower speed for rotating a drum at a lower speed while thick clothing is dried by driving the motor at a higher speed, wherein a clothing kind selecting signal is input via a manipulation part of the dryer for controlling the driving motor at a proper speed.
