PURPOSE: An apparatus for replacing a battery of an automated guided vehicle is provided to maximize an operation rate by minimizing a loss of a time required to charge the battery of an automated guided vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A battery loading box(10) is formed in 2 rows and 2 stages. 4 batteries can be loaded in the battery loading box(10). A vertical driving motor(11) moves a battery feeder(12) up and down. A lateral driving motor(13) moves a feed pork(12') left and right. The battery feeder(12) and the feed pork(12') supply and discharge a discharge battery to and from each loading box(10), respectively. A controller(14) is connected to the vertical driving motor(11) and the lateral driving motor(13). The controller(14) includes a loading button and a discharge button. The controller(14) includes a programmable logic controller.
