发明名称 METHOD FOR REMOVING GASES CONTAINING HYDROGEN SULFIDE USING AQUEOUS CATALYSTS OF FE-CHELATE
摘要 PURPOSE: A method for removing gases containing hydrogen sulfide using aqueous catalysts of Fe-chelate is provided, in which catalyst degradation is solved by introducing regeneration technology of reduced aqueous catalysts of Fe-chelate using iron oxidizing microorganism, a grafting of chemical reaction and biological reaction, thus enabling the catalyst to be used almost semi-permanently. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a following steps: (i) remove hydrogen sulfide by feeding aqueous catalysts of Fe-chelate to absorbing tower to which hydrogen sulfide containing gas is fed thus being brought into contact with the hydrogen sulfide containing gas to oxidize hydrogen sulfide to elementary sulfur slurry and to reduce iron oxide ion of aqueous catalysts of Fe-chelate to reduced iron; (ii) separate elementary sulfur slurry and reduced iron solution by a separator before discharging mixture of elementary sulfur and reduced iron from absorber; and (iii) regenerate the separated aqueous catalysts of Fe-chelate into iron oxide solution by using such iron oxidizing microorganisms as Thiobacillus ferrooxidans (ATCC 198591), Thiobacillus ferrooxidans (ATCC 232070) and Thiobacillus ferrooxidans (ATCC 13728) and feed again it to absorber into which hydrogen sulfide containing gas is introduced.
