A timepiece includes a rotatable bezel (14) mounted on the housing (12). A storage area (30) inside the housing (12) contains a plurality of folded or crumpled sector elements (32). Rotating the bezel (14) causes detents (48, 50) in the bezel to push the wires (46) in the sector elements (32) out of the storage area and causes the wires and the sector elements to cover a conventional solid dial face (20) which is mounted in a housing thereby changing the appearance of the dial face.
