<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably harden ink of a cationic polymerization system even by a flash light source without being influenced by the kind of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet printer is equipped with a recording head which ejects the ink of photo-curing properties of the cationic polymerization system towards the recording medium; a light irradiation part which hardens the ink by applying ultraviolet rays from the flash light source that instantaneously irradiates ultraviolet rays, to the ink hit on the recording medium; a kind recognition part which recognizes the kind of the recording medium; and a control part which controls an irradiation energy of the flash light source of the light irradiation part on the basis of the recognition result of the kind recognition part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
