PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera, an accessory and a portable electronic apparatus for allowing the accessory for function extension to be carried together with the camera. SOLUTION: A strap 10 is attached to the side face of a camera body 1. A strap 10 holds a second communication part 31 and a first communication part 21 connected with the second communication part by a through part 34. The first communication part 21 is in a state of being connected with a circuit in the camera body 1 by a cord 23, and a P connector 32 of the second communication part 31 can be connected to a terminal of an external apparatus. In the state of connecting the second communication part 31 to the external apparatus, the camera body 1 and the external apparatus can perform wireless communication by the first communication part 21 and the second communication part 31.
