PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device for measurement, wherein complicated operation can be reduced to improve operability. SOLUTION: A reference point designating part 18b designates two reference points on a measurement object. A reference curve calculating part 18c calculates a reference curve approximating the contour of the measurement object. A defect forming point calculation part 18d calculates a defect forming point forming the contour of the defect formed in the measurement object based on the reference point and the reference curve. A defect size calculating part 18f measures a size of the defect based on the defect forming point. When two reference points are designated, measurement of the defect size is enabled, so that the complicated operation can be reduced to improve the operability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
