PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp associative words intrinsic to respective retrieval words, and the associative word common to the all retrieval words by performing associative retrieval concerning the plurality of retrieval words. SOLUTION: A keyword appearance frequency holding part holds appearance frequency data which is obtained by tabulating the appearance frequencies of a plurality of keywords by each kind of document data. A keyword relevance degree holding part holds relevance degree data which is calculated by using the appearance frequency data and expresses the relevance degree based on co-occurrence between the keywords. An associative word selecting part 62 extracts the predetermined number of keywords as the associative words concerning the plurality of retrieval words inputted from a user terminal in descending order of the relevance degree with respect to the substantially same keyword as the retrieval word. An associative word matching part 64 performs matching of associative word sets which are respectively extracted concerning the plurality of retrieval words, and discriminates the common associative words from the different associative words. A page generating part 66 generates a page for displaying the common associative words and the different associative words, and then outputs the page to the user terminal as a retrieval result.
