摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide an energy storage element whose resistance increase due to the shortage of the supply of an electrolyte is suppressed, an energy storage system, and a manufacturing method thereof. The energy storage element includes: a drum shaped generating element (10) which is wound by a positive pole, a negative pole, and a separator and has a curved unit and a linear unit; a current collecting body (7); and an electrolyte (3). A positive material has a non-formation unit (11E), where a positive pole medical mixture layer is not formed, at one end (10A). The current collecting body (7) is connected with both at least part of a linear unit of the non-formation unit of the positive pole at the one end (10A) and at least part of a linear unit of a non-formation unit of the negative pole at the other end (10B). The length of the one end (10A) of the positive pole is longer than the winding length, and/or the length of the other end (10B) of the negative pole is longer than the winding length.
