PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device which makes it possible to communicate without providing a special function at a cradle device side and without resetting its own terminal address for a network every time a cradle device connected to a different subnet is used.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 1, when connected to a LAN cradle device 2, specifies the LAN cradle device 2, sets its own IP address according to the specified LAN cradle device 2, and sets store information for identifying a store in which the LAN cradle device 2 is installed as related information associated with the cradle device 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
