摘要 The invention relates to the field of aircraft manufacturing and can be used as one of the design options in addressing the fatigue strength problems of the airframe as well as in other structures operating under variable loads. According to the invention a hole is inclined to a surface of structural element in such a way that a line of projection of the hole axis on the plane of effective stresses in the element coincides with the direction of action in it of maximum tensile stresses arising from the effect on the structure of the wing of an external variable load during operation of the aircraft. Due to the new properties of the structural element of the aircraft wing with the free hole a guaranteed increase in the fatigue life of structural elements with free cylindrical circular holes is provided.
