This testing device can be used to efficiently facilitate high-precision experiments and research on raising organisms at low cost. One device body 11 is provided with a floor unit 20, a space unit 30, and a ceiling unit 40 which are divided from each other into three sections. The units are combined in a detachable manner, and formed in the interior thereof is a series of control spaces 12 sectioned off from the exterior into the minimum range for housing a prescribed minimum number of plants. Environmental factors that affect the plants are controlled in the control spaces 12.
