This air conditioning system, in which a plurality of communication apparatuses including an indoor unit and an outdoor unit are connected to a network that is divided into a plurality of segments, is provided with a bridge the relays communication between the segments. The bridge has: a plurality of reception units that receive frames from each of the segments; a buffer that performs primary storage of the frames; a plurality of transmission units that transmit the frames stored as primary storage in the buffer to a segment that differs from the transmission source; and a transmission timing setting unit that sets a transmission initiation timing, at which the transmission unit initiates transmission of the frames. The transmission timing setting unit has a function that controls a remaining capacity threshold value on the basis of estimated transmission traffic. If the capacity remaining in the buffer is greater than the remaining capacity threshold value, the transmission timing setting unit sets the transmission initiation timing to a prescribed timing; if the capacity remaining in the buffer is less than or equal to the remaining capacity threshold value, the transmission timing setting unit sets the transmission initiation timing so as to be sooner than the prescribed timing. |
