The present feature pertains to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program, which are configured so as to make it possible to interpret the content of a user's speech in a form conforming to the user's intent, and to perform a process. This information processing device: specifies an assumed date and time, which is a date and time assumed by a user; extracts a date and time expression included in an input sentence inputted by the user; and derives the date and time expressed by the extracted date and time expression as a reference for the assumed date and time. Processes are performed by various applications on the basis of the derived date and time. The present feature can be applied to a computer capable of recognizing the content of the user's speech and performing the various processes. |
