PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely transmit important parts when a file of contents such as a moving picture, a still picture and music is distributed from a server to a user terminal and is subjected to streaming reproduction. SOLUTION: Information about a non-skip area is transmitted when the file of contents is transmitted from the server to the terminal. Whether or not the non-skip area is skipped is judged and information to indicate that the non-skip area is skipped is returned to the server when the non-skip area is skipped at a terminal. The server transmits information corresponding to the non-skip area by another transmission means, for example, electronic mail when the information to indicate that the non-skip area is skipped is received. Thus, important information is surely delivered to the user's side even when the information is skipped on the side of the user terminal. |
