PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entering/leaving control terminal and an entering/ leaving control system capable of effectively conducting control of entering and leaving, shortening time from reading a card till completion of determination, and smoothly allowing entering and leaving. SOLUTION: This entering/leaving control terminal, and this entering/leaving control system provided with the entering/leaving control terminal are provided with a reading means composed to read personal information of a user recorded in the card of the user, and an effective period of the card, a determination means composed to determine if move of the user from a first area to a second area can be permitted or not based on the personal information and the effective period read by the reading means, and a recording means composed to renew the effective period of the card when it is determined by the determination means that the move can be permitted. The interval of the effective period to be renewed is properly determined, and the personal information to be recorded in the entering/leaving control terminal is reduced to be in a proper quantity, thereby if the move of the user is permitted or not can be speedily determined. |
