A curable resin composition removable with neutral water which comprises (A) a polymer having polymerizable unsaturated groups, (B) a crosslinking monomer, (C) a polymerization initiator, and (D) a reactive surfactant having a polymerizable unsaturated group, in particular, a resin composition curable with actinic energy rays and removable with neutral water which comprises (A) a polymer having polymerizable unsaturated groups, (B) a crosslinking monomer, (C) a photoinitiator, and (D) a reactive surfactant having a polymerizable unsaturated group. The composition is usable as a composition for coating materials, printing inks, and print top coatings. Since the composition is removable with neutral water, there is no need of using an organic solvent for cleansing the apparatus used.
