LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND BACKLIGHT DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a plurality of optical sheets installed at a backlight device can cause wrinkles easily due to a static electricity generated between different types of optical sheets and also due to heat expansion differences between the both sheets.

SOLUTION: In the backlight device provided with a first optical sheet which has two different linear elongation coefficients to a first direction and a second direction in a plane and in which the linear elongation coefficient of the first direction is larger than that of the second direction and the second optical sheet arranged adjacent to the first optical sheet, the linear elongation coefficient in the first direction of the first optical sheet and that in the direction corresponding to the first direction of the second optical sheet are made to be approximated.
