PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle capable of restraining the fuel consumption of an engine to be as little as possible, while accurately feeding generated output of a generator driven by the output of the engine to an electrical energy storing means which stores electrical energy for auxiliary devices. SOLUTION: A generator 3, which generates electric power with the output of an engine 1 and charges the generated output into a battery 23 for auxiliary devices, is provided on the output shaft 1a of the engine 1 in such a manner as to be capable of being connected or disconnected via a generator clutch 13. Whether or not the generator 3 generates electric power is determined in accordance with the energy consumption rate of the battery 23 for the auxiliary devices. When electric power is generated by the generator 3, the generator clutch 13 is engaged, and if it is not, it is disengaged. |
