A demonstration method of a video display device and a video display device thereof are provided to enable a seller of a shop to directly edit a demonstration scenario for demonstration in the video display device so that the seller of the shop can demonstrate the video after maximizing functions of the high quality and high performance video display device without replacing a program, which will be demonstrated, whenever each program is terminated. A demonstration method of a video display device comprises the following steps of: receiving demonstrated program selection information and demonstration time through a user interface, and storing a scenario table for demonstration in a memory(206); checking whether a demonstration command is inputted through the user interface(208); and if so, outputting a program corresponding to the program selection information registered in the scenario table for demonstration for a demonstration time corresponding to the program.
