PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection end for a water pipe providing easy connection of the water pipe to a connector.

SOLUTION: The connection end 11 is provided with an end portion 10a of the water pipe 10 made of synthetic resin, the in-core 13 inserted in the end portion 10a, and the engagement element 14. In the end portion 10a of the water pipe 10, the engagement element 14 is fit in an outer circumferential part of an end portion rear part 10 more to the rear than an end portion tip 10b for bringing a waterproofing member 5a in close contact with an outer circumference face, so as to hold the end portion rear part 10c with the in-core 13. By inserting the connection end 11 into a socket 1b of a header 1, and engaging the engagement element 14 with an attachment element 6, the end portion 10a is prevented from loosening with respect to the socket 1b, and the water pipe 10 is connected to the header 1.
