A chip having a reflecting effect, artificial marble comprising the same, and a manufacturing method for the same are provided to polish products without influence on surface flatness, by using resin chips and to exclude a process for increasing specific gravity, by adjusting the specific gravity of the reflecting chip enough to be submerged in a matrix in molding the chips. A chip is composed of a transparent layer and a light reflecting layer formed on one or both surfaces of the transparent layer. The transparent layer contains resin of 0.05~100wt.% having the refractive index different from that of aluminum hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide of 50~200wt.%, an initiator of 0.1~5wt.%, and a cross linking agent of 0.1~10wt.%. Resin is at least one selected from a group comprising epoxy, vinyl ester, and ester resin modified into a functional group selected from unsaturated polyester, acryl, urethane, and epoxy.
