PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma ignition device having excellent blocking performance with respect to radio noise and high reliability. SOLUTION: The plasma ignition device is provided with an ignition plug 10 fitted to an internal combustion engine 50; a power source 20 for discharge; a power source 30 for plasma energy supply; and a radio noise reduction element part 40 comprising a rectifying element 305, a resister 27 and a capacitor 34. The radio noise reduction element part 40 is placed within a plug hole 501, and a SiC diode 350 comprising a wide band gap semiconductor is used for the rectifying element 305.
