The vehicle is of unitary construction, comprising a moulded body, incorporating a tubular frame to the front wheel(s) and a transmission system to the rear wheel(s). The moulded body integrates load carrying ability, safety and a good level of weather protection and has a plurality of locations enabling attachment of modular items for providing various functions and requirements, e.g. a canopy, additional seating, a lidded storage cavity, a liftable rear trailer, sports or shopping items. The vehicle is pedal powered with optional power assistance and can have a dynamo powered from the drive. The seat, which is high-backed, can be unitary with the body or is adjustable by a balloon cushion. The front wheel can be removed and the vehicle attached to another such vehicle for tandem use. |
