PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a new formulation for improving solubility and bioavailability of a hydrophobic drug. SOLUTION: The invention provides a self-emulsifying pharmaceutical composition containing a lipophilic drug, a surfactant and a hydrophilic carrier and a method for producing the pharmaceutical composition for increasing bioavailability of a drug by self-emulsification.
