PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediary system for resuming cable processing with required precision on early stage by improving communication between cable processing machines and operators.SOLUTION: An intermediary system 200 for controlling cable processing on a plurality of cable processing machines CPM1-CPMn has an interface component 210 configured to: receive location data LD1, LD2 and LD3 of operators 10, 20 and 30; receive technical status data TS1-TSn of the cable processing machines; forward an operator request OR1 to a particular operator 10; and receive a technical status data update from a particular cable processing machine CPM1 when a particular capability is restored. The intermediary system further has a computing component 220 comprising: a technical status evaluator 201 configured to identify a need for restoring the particular cable processing machine CPM1; and a request composition component 203b configured to generate the operator request OR1 for the particular operator 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
