PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy removal of a wire after assembling a roller bearing including a split type holder having a plurality of separators or segments bound to one another for easy assembly.SOLUTION: A conical-cage-shaped holder 17 includes two or more segments 20 each having a pair of arcuate side plate parts 23 and a columnar part 24 connecting both side plate parts 23, and arranged on the circumference, the segments 20 being bound with a wire member 25. The wire member 25 includes a small-diameter side circumferential part 31 arranged along one side plate part peripheral edge 26 starting from an engagement part 25c provided at the front end, an axial part 33 continuous with the small-diameter side circumferential part 31, engaging with the engagement part 25c, turned back in the axial direction, and extending through the columnar part 24 to the side of the other peripheral edge 27, and a large-diameter side circumferential part 32 continuous with the axial part 33 and arranged along the other side plate part peripheral edge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
