摘要 The present invention is directed to a method for producing ultrathin glass sheets comprising the following steps: (a) Preparing or providing a polymer/glass compound comprising from 30 to 80 vol% of a mineral component consisting of glass particles and optionally ceramic particles, and from 20 to 70 vol% of an organic component consisting of one or more thermoplastic polymers and one or more processing aids selected from the group consisting of surfactants, waxes, and plasticizers, (b) Extruding the polymer/glass compound of step (a) at a temperature of between 50°C and 280 °C as a composite polymer/glass sheet, (c) Progressively heating the resulting composite polymer/glass sheet to a temperature of between 500 °C and 1600 °C, preferably of between 500 °C and 850 °C, so as to first burn out the organic component and then sinter together the glass particles of the mineral component, thereby obtaining a glass sheet.
