A space phase modulator and a method for fabricating same. The space phase modulator comprises a first substrate (70) and a second substrate (10) disposed opposite each other, and a liquid crystal layer (40) disposed between the two substrates. A transparent electrode layer (60) and a first alignment layer (50) are disposed in a stacked manner on a surface, facing the liquid crystal layer (40), of the first substrate (70). An electrode layer (20) and an insulating medium glass layer (30) are disposed in a stacked manner on a surface, facing the liquid crystal layer (40), of the second substrate (10). A beveled saw-tooth structure (321) is provided on a surface, facing the liquid crystal layer (40), of the insulating medium glass layer (30). The saw-tooth structure (321) is used as a second alignment layer to fit the first alignment layer (50) to control a rotating direction of liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer (40). |
