Disclosed are a communication method, access point (AP) and station (STA). The method comprises: transmitting, by an AP, on a main unit channel utilized by an operation bandwidth, indication information public to scheduled users, the indication information being configured to indicate a transmission mode of n private sub-information of the scheduled users on the operation bandwidth, wherein n is a positive integer; and transmitting, by the AP, according to the transmission mode, the n sub-information on the unit channel utilized by the operation bandwidth. By transmitting the indication information public to the scheduled users on the main unit channel utilized by the operation bandwidth to indicate the transmission mode for the private information of the scheduled users on the operation bandwidth, and by transmitting and receiving, by the AP and the STA respectively, the private information of the scheduled users according to the transmission mode, the communication method, the AP and the STA in the embodiments of the present invention can guarantee the robustness of the private information of the user, while reducing system signaling overhead and increasing system efficiency. |
