The object of the invention is a sheet-metal coiling machine equipped with a coiling system (1) and the brake system (2), wherein the coiling system (1) comprises a support frame (2), upon which a rotary shaft with a spool (4) is seated, powered with a motor in order to provide it with the torque (M), wherein the bands of sheet-metal (5) are wound onto a rotating drum with a spool (4) creating sheet-metal from coil (6), and a separator arm (8) is fixed to the supporting frame (3) by a rotary joint (7), the arm being equipped with separators (9), separating individual coiled bands of sheet-metal (5), while the brake system (2) comprises brake linings (10) exerting resistance pressure (P) on the wound bands of sheet-metal (5) so that together with the torque (M) of the rotating shaft with spool (4) they exert a pulling force (F) on the wound sheet-metal (5), characterized in that the braking system (2) has a lifting mechanism providing the regulated height (H) of the brake linings (10), wherein the height (H) of the brake linings (10) is regulated by means of a control system coupled with an angular sensor (12) disposed in the' joint (7) in such a way that the band winding angle (a) is kept at a constant level together with the increasing and/or decreasing the diameter of sheet-metal from coil (6). |
