The invention also relates to a semi- automatic handgun, in which a hard strip (11) is formed in the material structure of the slide (1), said strip having an approximately triangular cross-section with two exposed surfaces that originate from the lower edge o f the locking surface (5) One of said surfaces extends upwards, with the upper edge of the locking surface (5) constituting its furthest point, and the oth er surface extends towards the front on the lower side of the slide (1), whereb y the two ends are interconnected through the material of the slide (1), formi ng a structural parting plane (13).
