FIBER FEBRY-PEROT OPTICAL INTERFERENCE ELEMENT AND OPTICAL WAVELENGTH FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Fiber Febry-Perot optical interference element which does not require a collimator, is small-sized, is capable of easy performing optical coupling and causes no splitting in the transmission spectrum and to provide an optical wavelength filter comprising the Fiber Febry-Perot optical interference element.

SOLUTION: The Fiber Febry-Perot optical interference is provided with a columnar member in which an optical fiber is disposed along the center axis, and reflection films formed on both end surfaces, wherein the optical fiber is welded and fixed on an outer member of the columnar member.
